The Standard Edition is a higher definition print produced by the giclée printing process. The term giclée (zhee – clay) is French meaning “spraying of ink”. Giclée prints are produced on a 12-color printer utilizing archival inks transferred on to a very fine canvas which is then stretched, varnished and prepared for exquisite custom framing. Giclée printers are able to produce a wider range of color and higher definition detail than possible with tradition lithographic printing. Using the giclée method, the canvas evokes the emotion, details and subtleties of the original painting. Each Standard Edition Canvas Giclée has an image area of approximately 26” x 37” and is hand-signed and numbered in oils by the artist on the lower portion of the canvas. Each canvas is accompanied by a Certificate of Limited Edition & an engraved brass titleplate. The item featrures exquisite mahogany custom framing with gold trim with linen liner. A very specially engraved brass nameplate will be attached to the linen liner making this the value appreciating heirloom indicative of the iconic Ken Stabler.
