Description
A Philadelphia Phillies Unframed 16×20 MLB Pitching Photo hand signed by Steve Carlton. The item and signature are in excellent condition. Steve Carlton is one of the greatest left-handed pitchers in Major League Baseball history. Over a 24-year career (1965–1988), primarily with the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals, Carlton amassed 329 wins, a 3.22 ERA, and 4,136 strikeouts—ranking fourth all-time at the time of his retirement. He was the first pitcher to win four Cy Young Awards (1972, 1977, 1980, 1982) and helped lead the Phillies to their first World Series championship in 1980. Carlton was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994, and his No. 32 jersey was retired by the Phillies, who also honored him with a statue at Citizens Bank Park.
