An Official American League MLB Baseball hand signed by 28 – 1949 Philadelphia Athletics players including Lou Brissie, Jim Dykes, Tod Davis, Carl Scheib, Ferris Fain, Dick Fowler Buddy Rosar and more. Apparently after name-by-name examination, Connie Mack is deemed vintage non-authentic version. From the 1920’s to the present day, it has been common practive for clubhouse personnel (i.e. attendants, batboys, other players, etc.) to perform the duties of “ghost” signing for ball players. Often a non-malicious ritual, this custom must be defined in an effort to authenticate items properly. The item and signature are in excellent condition.
