Bernie is a former quarterback who played collegiately at the University of Miami leading the team to a National Championship in 1983. Kosar played in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns from 1985 to 1993 and then finished his career with the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins. With the Cowboys, he won Super Bowl XXVIII, beating the Buffalo Bills, on January 30, 1994.
